(44) members led by MBC Women’s Department attended the 13th Asian Baptist Women’s Union Assembly which was held in Georgetown Baptist Church, Penang, Malaysia from 29th August till 1st September 2018. They are from Kachin, Kayin, Chin, Ah Kha, Southern Shan, Nothern Shan, Tedim, Lahu, Wa, Mon and Immanuel Church. After the Assembly Myanmar delegations visited Myanmar congregations in Kuala Lumpur, Melaka and Jorho Bahru. Dr. Vernette Myint Myin Sann is elected as a president of Asian Baptist Women Union (ABWU) 2018 – 2022 term.
