Under the vision of establishing “Church Music School” in Myanmar, “Choir Contest” will be held on 22nd November 2018 at noon at Franc Auditorium, Ahlone, Yangon. Almost all the churches of Yangon City were already invited to take part in this singing competition and expected at least (20) churches will take part. First prize will be 1.5 million kyats, 2nd prize will be 1 million kyats, 3rd prize will be five hundred thousand kyats, special prize will be one hundred and fifty thousand kyats and three hundred thousand kyats for the best pianist prize. The choir is composed by Rev. Dr. Kler Kaw. It is learnt that a plot of kind dedicated to use for “Church music School” was donated by the outgoing general secretary of th Myanmar Baptist Convention Rev. K D Tu Lum and family.
