“Baptist Women’s World Day of Prayer” was observed on November 10, 2018, Saturday at Cushing Hall, MBC at 10:00 am. Present on the occasion were Yangon Council of Churches women group, fellow Baptist Women from Asho Chin Baptist Convention, MBCU, Lahu Baptist Convention, Kayin Baptist Home Mission Society, Chin Baptist Church-Yangon, Judson Church, Immanuel Church, Thuwana Yangonthit Baptist Church, U Naw Baptist Church, Zion Hill Kayin Baptist Church, Tedim Baptist Church-Yangon, Rakhine Baptist Church-Yangon, Wa Baptist Church, department committee advisors and staff altogether nearly (150)people. The following are the prayer leaders and the area which they focused on-
- Sayama Zakon Ja Eain (South-west Pacific)
- Sayama Mai Thet Thet Wai (Carribean)
- Naw Say Nay Paw (Africa)
- Sayama Marlar Thein (Asia)
- Sayama Zo Minn Than (North America)
- San San Aung (Latin America) and
- Sayama Daw Myint Thet Aye (Europe).
Word of encouragement was delivered by Dr. Vernette Myint Myint San, president of the Asia Pacific Baptist Women Federation and Rev. Dr. Khin Swe Oo pronounced the benediction. Dances, choruses and drama were also performed by the invited churches. Group photo was taken and the program was concluded by fellowship refreshment.
